dc.description.abstract	© 2018 IEEE. A fingerprinting of a physical device is useful in distinguishing a device from others. In security perspective device fingerprinting has many applications such as device authentication, network access management, withstanding attacks related to identity spoofing and tracing the malicious devices. In this paper, a technique of wireless devices fingerprinting has been presented. We have used the discrete wavelet transformation on the inter-arrival delay of network packets to extract a unique pattern embedded in their packet transmission. The performance evaluation of the model is done by using GTID dataset. The proposed method gives better accuracy and identifies more number of devices than the existing techniques.	en_US
