Originating in the field of media, smart city refers to the use of various information technologies or innovative concepts to connect and integrate urban systems and services, so as to enhance the efficiency of resource utilization, optimize urban management and services, and improve the life quality of citizens. With the rapid development of society and the increase of population, the influence of solar energy resources in Smart City must be considered. This research report introduced the concept of the conversion of solar energy resources between Queensland and NSW in Smart City, forecasts the number of solar energy equipment installation, and proves that the conversion of solar energy projects from NSW to Queensland is conducive to the development of Smart City in Queensland and can meet the requirements of 2032 Queensland Olympic Games through deep analysis.
