In this chapter we are interested in charting the patterns of “continuity and change” (Siena College, 2012) in the NSW text lists and interpreting the extent to which these lists have both perpetuated and challenged the orthodoxies of senior secondary English – orthodoxies that had their origins in the early 20th century versions of the subject in NSW
