A total Lagrangian finite element formnlation is developed for the non-linear elastodynamic analysis of cnrved composite beams subjected to moving loads. The effect of partial interaction in the longitudinal as well as in the horizontal direction due to flexible shear connectors at the interface is incorporated in the' 'proposed formulation. Newmark's step-by-step procedure is adopte.d to obtain the time-history response. It is shown that the behaviour of composite curved members is influenced significantly by the flexibility of shear connection between its components as well by the geometric non-linearity and initial curvature of the beam.
