Considering deception attacks in communication networks, the paper investigates a novel integral-based event-triggering switched control scheme with an H∞ norm bound for the LFC power system. To further reduce redundant signals transmission in the LFC network, a novel integral-based event-triggering mechanism (IETM) is constructed. The triggering condition depends on the integration of the system state over a past time period rather than the current sampling state value. Meanwhile, the waiting time in the IETM generator is set to avoid Zeno phenomenon. Hence, the IETM based switching control scheme of the LFC system considering deception attacks is established. Furthermore, through delay-dependent Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals (LKFs) with integral terms, the less conservative H∞ asymptotic stability criterion is derived. And the controller design method based on the IETM switching control rule is obtained. In the end, the effectiveness and superiority of the designed IETM are validated based on a wind-connected power system example.
