The superstrate thickness effects on the broadband circularly polarized stacked patch antenna performance were analyzed. It was found that the effect of the superstrate thickness on the P-plane mutual coupling was more than the C-plane. It was observed that the concave mutual coupling curve of the CP-EMCP elements in the frequency domain described the unexpected behavior of the non-monotonic decay in the spatial domain. It was suggested that an additional bandwidth, in which mutual coupling stays at a specific level, should be considered while designing an array. results show that 1.
